What is this, you are asking? You have just received the "MONTHLY" newsletter yesterday, how come you get another one already??
Well, let me explain. I decided to use this tool to reach out in order to find help for an old dog named Grandma. Am I forgiven? Thanks :-). And I promise I will do it again if I have to!
Grandma is about 12 years old, a female Chihuahua/Terrier mix. She was found wandering the streets of Stephenville, lost and confused. Once at the shelter, nobody had the heart to put her down after the mandatory 72 hours were up, so they kept her around.
Grandma has such a sweet personality, she won everybody's heart. However, her health started to decline at the shelter and after nearly 3 weeks, I finally decided to take her home for at least this long Labor Day Holiday Weekend and fatten her up a bit.
Hopefully I will be able to find a foster home or even a permanent home for her before Tuesday, because then she has to go back to the shelter. I cannot have this many dogs at my "WILDLIFE" rescue plus my husband isn't too happy to have 6 dogs in the house!
So we have 3 days, that's it. Once she is back at the shelter I don't have much hope for her. Please help me find a foster or permanent home for her. She is such low maintenance. All she needs is a lap to sit in, some food and water, and maybe a ten minute walk around the block. She is housebroken and has not displayed any problems with my dogs or cats, however, it appears that her eye sight is weakening.
Here are some pictures of Grandma, and here is a link to her MOVIE as well as the link to her PETFINDER.COM PAGE:
If you have ANY way of helping Grandma out, please EMAIL me at help@rainbowwildlife.com
This time a fundraiser or donations wouldn't help, because no amount of money can buy her a good home.
